The members of this centre have met since 1986 in Melbourne to celebrate our traditional festivities. We also get together to celebrate extraordinary events like the 'Made in Catalonia' Film Festival. The
Catalan Centre of Victoria is a recognized member of the official Catalan
Communities Abroad Unit by the Government of Catalonia.
THE CASAL WITH THE TV3'S MARATÓ!On December the 18th TV3 celebrated its yearly fundraising event called Marató de TV3. This year, money was raised for the Regeneration and organ and tissue transplant. An iniciative by the group of people who are working for the Casals around the world thanks to a scholarship from Generalitat, involved us with sending a photograph of support the event. Thanks to all the people who came along to take the photo that afternoon. The photograph came out very nice and the family members in Catalonia saw us on television.
