Our next meeting at Casal will be the celebration of “La Castanyada” a meal of chesnuts, panellets, sweet potato and preserved fruits, typically with Moscatell to drink.
As per last year, we will celebrate this event together with the kids group “La Mainada”. At 2pm the little ones will meet at the Casal and will learn to cook “panellets” and also received a very special visit from the Castanyera. A Catalan professional cook, Toni, will coordinate this workshop and adults are also welcome if they want to learn how to cook these delicious Catalan sweets. At 3pm everyone is welcome for a tasting of sweet potatoes, panellets and a glass of moscatell.
